Kate Hart is a Director at Pathstone, where she works with clients on customized and integrated wealth management strategies. Her focus includes holistic balance sheet advisement, investment strategy development and implementation, concentrated position management, and wealth preservation and transfer planning.
Prior to joining Pathstone, Kate was a Vice President at Jordan Park in New York, advising a distinct community of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and institutions. She delivered comprehensive wealth management solutions including portfolio strategy and implementation, concentrated position strategies, philanthropic planning, next-generation education, and holistic balance sheet guidance.
Earlier in her career, Kate was part of the investment research team at Brown Brothers Harriman, where she focused on manager selection and asset allocation. She also held roles at Michaud Capital, a Denver-based multifamily office, and at Wells Fargo Private Bank.
Kate earned her Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from the University of Colorado Denver. She is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute. She also serves on the Investment Committee for the Women’s Foundation of Colorado.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given to investment professionals who have successfully completed the requirements set by the globally recognized CFA Institute. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
