Kurt Rieke serves as Managing Director and is a shareholder at Pathstone. Kurt leads Client Advisory for San Francisco and works in close partnership with the Executive Managing Director of the region. Additionally, he serves as a strategic investment advisor to multi-generational families and charitable endowments.

Prior to joining Pathstone, Kurt served as Managing Director & Co-Head of Portfolio Management at Hall Capital Partners LLC, an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) which advised on $45 billion of client assets. He also served on the firm’s Executive Committee, Management Committee, and Investment Review Committee. Before joining Hall Capital in 2004, he worked in Private Wealth Management for Goldman Sachs & Co., Commercial Banking for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., and Retail Sales for Quick & Reilly.

Kurt graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.  He is a former board member of 10,000 Degrees and the Dartmouth College Fund.

Kurt and his wife live in the San Francisco Bay Area with their three children.  Kurt is an avid runner, skier, and backpacker as well as a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers.
