Liz Smoose is a Managing Director and Shareholder at Pathstone in the New York City office.  She serves as a strategic wealth advisor specifically focused on financial sponsor partners.  With over 20 years of experience in senior positions at SVB Private and Goldman Sachs, Liz has deep experience in tax and estate planning, and is passionate about delivering a specialized, quantitative approach to wealth management.

Liz provides clients with customized and integrated wealth management solutions, including holistic balance sheet advisement, investment strategy development and implementation, concentrated position management, and wealth preservation and transfer planning.

With a Master of Laws in taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Liz is licensed to practice law by the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations.
