Matt Jahnle serves as Associate General Counsel of Pathstone. He is responsible for developing and overseeing the firm’s legal, compliance, and regulatory framework for operations, ensuring compliance across all functional areas of Pathstone and its related holding company and affiliates. He supports the General Counsel by providing legal and business-related guidance on matters including the firm’s registration and operation as an investment adviser, and by coordinating legal activities related to joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and collaborations with other financial services providers.

Prior to joining Pathstone, Matt worked at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in the Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups. Before graduate school, he served as an assistant portfolio manager in Pathstone’s Philadelphia Metro Office.

Matt holds a BS in Finance with distinction from Pennsylvania State University, a JD cum laude from Cornell Law School and an MBA from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. He is admitted to the New York State Bar.
