Kate Lavin serves as Managing Director and is a shareholder at Pathstone. Kate serves as a strategic investment advisor to multi-generational families and charitable endowments.

Before joining Pathstone, Kate was a Managing Director in the Portfolio Management Group at Hall Capital Partners LLC, an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) which advised on $45 billion of client assets. She also served on the firm’s Investment Review Committee. Prior to joining Hall Capital Partners, Kate was a Vice President at Fortress Investment Group and a Senior Analyst in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco. She started her career as an Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Public Finance Department in New York.

Kate graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Kate serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of St. Thomas More Play Group in New York. Kate previously served as a Trustee of Sacred Heart Greenwich, her alma mater.
