Lindsay Searer is a Director and shareholder at Pathstone. Lindsay is responsible for sourcing and diligence of new investment opportunities, as well as ongoing investment monitoring. She has over 15 years of investment experience and focuses primarily on private market strategies including private equity, venture capital, and real estate funds. In addition, Lindsay interacts with clients to educate them on Pathstone’s research process and their portfolio of investments.
Lindsay joins Pathstone from Crestone Capital. From 2007 to 2012, Lindsay served as Crestone’s real estate asset manager and was responsible for managing all aspects of Crestone’s direct real estate investment portfolio, which consisted of office, flex, and mixed-use properties in Colorado. In 2012, Lindsay transitioned to Crestone’s investment research team and became a generalist investor, covering all asset classes.
Lindsay received her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science, with an emphasis in accounting, from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is a CFA® charterholder.
Lindsay serves as a Limited Partner Advisory Committee member or observer for multiple funds. She is a member of both CFA® Institute and CFA® Society Austin.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute that measures and certifies the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
