Methodology: The list is open to management firms with offices in the San Francisco area. The list is ranked by RIA assets under management as of December 31, 2024. To be eligible, firms must be a registered investment advisory firm (RIA) with the SEC or the State of California, depending upon the amount of assets managed. Participants must be able to disclose ranking criteria of assets under management (AUM) for the SF regional office. Information is gathered via ABJ surveys sent to company representatives. Only firms that respond to requests for information are considered. No fee was paid for participation. The award ranking provided is accurate as of September 8, 2025 and is based on data as of December 31, 2024.
