Financial Advisor Magazine’s 2025 list of Top RIAs features Pathstone as #8 (up from #13 in 2024). Pathstone has also ranked as #7 Fastest-Growing RIA. The Top RIA rankings are based on assets under management at year-end 2024, and Fastest-Growing rankings compare firms’ 2024 year-end AUM to that of 2023. Ranking applicants include “only independently registered investment advisors who file their own ADV statements with the SEC and offer financial planning and related services to individual clients”.

Pathstone paid no application fee to participate, but did purchase a license to use the awards logo.
2025 Ranking Methodology: Financial Advisor’s RIA Survey and Ranking ranks firms based on their assets under management at year end. They include independent RIA firms that file an ADV with the SEC. FA’s ranking orders firms from largest to smallest, based on AUM reported by individual firms that voluntarily complete and submit FA’s survey. Firms that do not complete an application are not included. 2025 rankings for Top RIAs and Fastest- Growing RIAs were announced on July 11, 2025, and reflect data as of year-end 2024/2023.
