Andrew John is a Managing Director and shareholder on the Public Equities team at Pathstone, based in the Philadelphia Metro Area Office.

Previously, Andrew spent over 16 years at Veritable, LP where he was Head of Public Equity Investments and a Portfolio Manager. He served on the Research Investment Committee and was responsible for the same pooled manager vehicles. He has dedicated his career to researching managers in international and domestic public markets.

Andrew graduated with highest honors from Lehigh University in 2006 with a BA in Economics and International Relations. He received a Presidential Scholarship and earned his master’s degree in Economics from Lehigh University in 2007. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of CFA Society Philadelphia.

Andrew has a reputation for persistence and thoroughness in outside manager due diligence, but while traveling for work he will gladly try new food recommendations without calling references. He is an avid science fiction reader and he and his wife are devoted parents to their three children.

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given to investment professionals who have successfully completed the requirements set by the globally recognized CFA Institute. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
