Gus Campbell

Gus is a Director on Pathstone’s Client Advisory team, based in the Denver office. He draws on more than a decade of experience advising families and managing investment and planning strategies tailored to their unique objectives. 

Before joining Pathstone, Gus spent six and a half years at Walton Enterprises, most recently as a Family Advisor and Lead for Strategy and Operations. In these roles, he guided initiatives spanning financial planning, estate planning, liquidity management, and philanthropy, while spearheading strategic projects such as a firm-wide Addepar implementation and a multi-billion-dollar liquidity and charitable giving program. Earlier, Gus worked as a Risk Management Analyst at Millennium Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund in New York. 

Gus holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and is a CFA charterholder. Originally from South Dakota, he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and introducing his daughter to the slopes, as well as exploring the culinary arts through cooking. 

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute that measures and certifies the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
