Jani Szlatenyi

Jani serves as an Associate Director at Concentric, based in the Walnut Creek office. He brings more than 15 years of expertise in financial technology and data leadership. Most recently, Jani was Executive Director of Technology and Data at MSCI, where he spearheaded global data infrastructure transformation initiatives supporting analytics, ESG, private assets, and index products. In recent years, he has worked with wealth advisory startups exploring AI applications for B2B financial services. 

Jani earned a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Pécs and a degree in IT Development and System Architecture from Kandó Kálmán College in Budapest. 

Outside of work, Jani serves on El Cerrito’s Financial Advisory Board, enjoys building IoT projects and 3D printing, and embraces his Hungarian-American heritage.
