Katherine Pease leads Pathstone’s philanthropic advisory services for family and foundation clients.  She also works with investment advisory clients that seek to align their investments with their mission and values.

Before joining Pathstone, Katherine served as the Chief Impact Strategist at Cornerstone Capital Group. Katherine co-managed the firm’s impact measurement effort and research team, while also working directly with clients and providing strategic guidance to the integration of impact strategies across the firm. Before Cornerstone, Katherine served as the Principal of KP Advisors, Inc. The firm’s mission was to help foundations, nonprofits, and investors develop thoughtful, innovative approaches to address the challenges they care about most. She advised on various types of capital and other resources that can be deployed to make the world more just, fair, and equitable. Previously she served as Senior Vice President for Philanthropic Investment and Public Policy at Gary Community Investments/Piton Foundation in Colorado and as Executive Director of the Gill Foundation.

Katherine has served on numerous boards of directors in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. She currently serves on the board of directors of Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Funders and is on the Investment Committee of The Denver Foundation. She is a graduate of Colorado College and holds an MPA from the University of Colorado Denver.
