Rob Sawyer is a Managing Director and shareholder at Pathstone. Rob serves as a strategic investment advisor to multi-generational families and charitable endowments.

Prior to joining Pathstone, Rob was a Managing Director in the Portfolio Management Group at Hall Capital Partners LLC, an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) which advised on $45 billion of client assets. He also served on the firm’s Investment Review Committee. Before joining Hall Capital in 2011, Rob worked as an investor at Paramax Capital Partners and previously was a Managing Director on the Sales and Trading team at ISI Group (now Evercore ISI) and opened their European subsidiary in London.

Rob graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History and earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Rob serves on the Investment Committee of the Westchester Land Trust.

In his free time, Rob enjoys family hikes, skiing with his three daughters, dinner with friends in NYC, and exploring new places.
