Sarb Shah is a shareholder and Managing Director at Pathstone on both the Advisory and Investment Research teams at Pathstone, based in the Alexandria Office.

Prior to Pathstone, Sarb was a partner and Chief Investment Officer for Dyson Capital Advisors. He led the investment advisory function and was responsible for all asset allocation, manager selection, and direct investment recommendations. Before joining Dyson, Sarb served in a variety of roles analyzing investments. He was a Partner and Director of Research at X-10 Capital, an Associate with Columbia Capital LLC, and an Analyst on the Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. Investment Banking team.

Sarb received an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago in 1996. He lives in Vienna, VA, with his wife and two children.
