Simon Krinsky is a Regional Executive Managing Director and shareholder at Pathstone, overseeing strategic management of the firm’s New York City and San Francisco offices. Additionally, Simon serves as a strategic investment advisor to multigenerational families and charitable endowments and foundations. Simon is a member of Pathstone’s National Advisory Counsel.

Before joining Pathstone, Simon was a Managing Partner at Hall Capital Partners, an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) that advised on $45 billion in client assets. He was also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Management Committee, and Investment Review Committee. Simon’s prior experience includes working in the Equities Division of Goldman Sachs, where he had several roles, including convertibles sales and trading in New York and Private Client Services in San Francisco.

Simon graduated from Amherst College with a bachelor’s degree and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation.

Simon chairs the investment committee for the Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust, co-chairs the investment committee for Amherst College, and serves on the investment committee for The Chapin School.  Simon previously served on the Board of Trustees for Amherst College from 2014 to 2026. 

Simon and his wife live in New York City with their teenage daughter. In his free time, he battles the impacts of aging on the tennis court.

Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
