Tom is a Managing Director in Pathstone’s Philadelphia metro area office. Tom directs the office’s Information Technology/Reporting Group, including overseeing the Information Security Program. Tom’s primary responsibilities also include assessing operational, financial, and regulatory risk; evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of the system of internal controls in place to mitigate risk; conducting independent control and compliance reviews; and coordinating operational activities.

Tom joined Pathstone from Veritable, LP where he came on in 2010 as Chief Risk Officer with 27 years of internal audit and operational risk management experience in the financial services industry. After spending eight years with Mellon Bank Corp., Tom held several senior management positions at Advanta Corp., including Senior VP, Internal Audit and Chief Ethics Officer.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from La Salle University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Villanova University.

Tom is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys spending family time with his wife Angela, their three sons, and grandchildren.
