Wes is an Executive Managing Director and shareholder in Pathstone’s Philadelphia metro office, responsible for overseeing the team, culture, and growth of the region’s advisory practice. Additionally, as a leader of an advisory team, he develops and implements bespoke investment policy and asset allocation for several complex, multigenerational clients. Wes serves on Pathstone’s Regional Leadership Team, where he supports firm growth and other strategic firm initiatives. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In 2025, Wes was named to Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors (PA Private Wealth).

Prior to Pathstone, Wes was a Partner and Investment Team Leader at Veritable, LP. He started his career with Veritable and over his tenure, he developed into an investment team leader while collaborating with firm leadership to formalize the business development and talent recruitment offices.

Wes graduated with honors from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Finance. Wes is a CFA^® charterholder and a member of CFA Society Philadelphia.

He is deeply committed to supporting educational equity for underserved students in Philadelphia. He currently serves as an advisory board member of Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia, which provides 8 years of free, end-to-end academic enrichment to highly motivated, traditionally underserved students in 5th through 12th grades. A dual-mission program, Breakthrough simultaneously builds the next generation of talented teachers through intensive teacher-in-residence program, designed to train and inspire college students to pursue careers in education.

Wes is a lifelong Philadelphian and currently lives in the city with his wife and daughter. He enjoys basketball, cycling, golf, and film. Most of all, he loves spending time outdoors with his family, whether it is exploring a new city or bird watching in Cape May.

The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria learned through telephone, virtual and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data such as revenue trends and assets under management. The algorithm additionally weighs factors such as service models, compliance records and industry experience, and focuses on those that encompass best practices in their approach to working with clients. All advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years’ experience. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. The award ranking reflects data as of June 30, 2024 and is accurate as of April 8, 2025.
