Alexander Binnie is a Principal and a shareholder at Pathstone. Alexander serves as a strategic investment advisor to multigenerational families and charitable endowments.
Prior to joining Pathstone, Alexander was a Vice President in the Portfolio Management Group at Hall Capital Partners LLC, an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) which advised on $45 billion of client assets. He was also a founding member of the firm’s Charitable Committee. Alexander started his career at Hall Capital, where he helped lead research on real assets managers and strategy. He worked as an internal consultant for the Global Health Strategy division of The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation when he was earning his M.B.A.
Alexander graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts and earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He was an NCAA Academic All-American.
He is a dual citizen. His father played professional soccer in Scotland (the homeland) and passed those genes down to him.
