Ari Pontz is a Managing Director and shareholder in Pathstone’s Philadelphia metro area office. With 25 years of experience, he works directly with the firm’s clients to execute their financial plans and ensure their strategic goals are being met. He began his investment career at Veritable in 1999.
Ari is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a BS in Finance. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of CFA Society Philadelphia.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Family and Children Services of Greater Philadelphia Foundation and is actively involved as a member of the Finance Committees for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative, and The LAM Foundation. He is a past board member of the Friends of the Wissahickon.
Ari resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife Corey and three young children. An avid hiker and fisherman, he now spends much of his free time engaged in youth sports, typically as a coach or as part of a carpool. Ari is also a writer who authored a novel about the Vietnam War.
