Betsy is a Director at Pathstone. She has more than 25 years of experience in institutional investment research and marketing. Previously, she was Managing Director, Marketing and Communications, at Cornerstone Capital Group (acquired by Pathstone in 2021). She oversaw the firm’s marketing and corporate communications, research product quality, and brand design.
Before joining Cornerstone, Betsy was the Global Head of Research Operations for UBS Investment Bank, responsible for publishing and related functions supporting 700-plus analysts. These functions included editorial and publishing services, translation, database oversight, regulatory supervision, marketing communications and technology projects. She served on the Global Research Executive Committee. Prior to joining predecessor PaineWebber in 1997, Betsy was publishing manager at Bear Stearns for several years.
Betsy also led the regional chapter of All Bar None, UBS’s gender diversity network, serving more than 2,000 members across the Americas over a four-year term. In this capacity, she partnered with senior leadership as a stakeholder in the firm’s efforts to recruit and retain women.
Betsy is an alumnus of Rutgers University, with degrees in both Economics and English Literature (the latter cum laude). She has held FINRA certifications 7, 16, 24, and 63.
