Chris Martin is a shareholder of the firm and Director of Alternatives Research. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day due diligence and selection of alternative investment strategies and investment managers for the firm’s clients. Chris is a member of the firm’s Chief Investment Office and a voting member of the Investment Committee.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Boston University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation from the CFA Institute, the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation from the CAIA Association, and is a member of the CFA Society Boston.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute that measures and certifies the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
The CAIA® designation is a globally recognized credential granted to individuals who have successfully completed the CAIA program and met the Association’s requirements. Use of the CAIA designation is authorized only for individuals who are in good standing with the CAIA Association.
