Craig has more than 20 years’ experience in ESG analysis and impact investing. As a Managing Director, Craig leads and supports client relationships at Pathstone and works primarily with investment committees and corporate trustees. Craig is a member of Pathstone’s Private Markets Investment Committee, Pathstone’s Impact Committee, and plays a leading role in Pathstone’s ESG and Impact Reporting.
Craig was previously the Chief Investment Officer of Cornerstone Capital Group (acquired by Pathstone in 2021). He directed the firm’s investment services, including investment policy development, asset allocation, manager selection and reporting processes. Craig also led and supported client relationships.
Before joining Cornerstone in 2014, Craig was Principal and US Head of Responsible Investment at Mercer Consulting, where he consulted on mandates for multibillion-dollar pension plans, family foundations and taxable clients covering a wide range of impact and sustainability mandates. Previously he was a Director at the Investor Responsibility Research Center (IRRC), which provided ESG research to institutional investors.
Craig currently serves on the Board of Directors of Denver-based Worklife Partnership, an organization dedicated to helping employees overcome challenges that keep them from thriving at work. Previously, Craig served as the Chair of the Board of the US Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment. Craig is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, a member of the CAIA Association and holds the Series 65 license.
