Previously holding the position of Vice President of Operations at Kovitz Investment Group, she demonstrated proficiency in process optimization and workflow integration during the acquisition of AFAM Capital. At AFAM, Cynthia held dual roles as Vice President of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing internal and trading operations with meticulous attention to detail. She also spearheaded the design and management of the intern program, solidifying her role as a key member of the firm’s senior leadership team.
Before her tenure at AFAM Capital, Cynthia contributed her expertise to esteemed organizations including the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and South Texas Money Management, further enriching her breadth of knowledge in financial services.
Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from St. Mary’s University, complemented by a Master of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University. Beyond her professional commitments, Cynthia is actively engaged in community service, supporting initiatives such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Texas 4000.
