Jonathan Scott
Managing Director
Jonathan is a Managing Director in Pathstone’s Philadelphia metro area office and was a partner at Veritable, LP since 1997. Through his long standing relationships and broad knowledge of the investment industry, Jonathan serves as a valuable member of our advisory teams, as well as an important contributor to the ongoing growth of our firm.
Jonathan holds a BA from Hampshire College, where he was a member of the College’s first class. As a former trustee, he led a team of professionals and students in the development of Hampshire’s first ESG-specific Investment Policy.
Jonathan created the Family Wealth Management business at PNC Bank in 1993 and was instrumental in PNC’s acquisition of Stolper & Co. in 1997. Earlier in his career, Jonathan held senior positions in the investment and trust division of PNC, where he specialized in the management and valuation of closely held businesses.
He serves as trustee for The National Recreation Foundation, a 102-year-old organization whose goal is to fund the development of outdoor recreational programs which create opportunities for underserved youth across America. Jonathan was the Treasurer for nine years and has been a member of the Investment Committee for nearly 25 years.
Jonathan and his wife Grace are in their 49th year of marriage and continue to live on a mid-18th century operating farm in the much-updated original farmhouse in Bucks County, PA. They are so proud of their family, three daughters, three sons in law and seven wonderful, fun, and funny grandchildren.
