Ken is the Executive Managing Director of Pathstone’s three Pacific Northwest regional offices, where he serves as a local resource to his talented teammates and works to ensure that clients have access to the firm’s deep resources as the team works collaboratively to deliver meaning, impact and results. Ken also himself serves as an advisor to individuals and families in the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated array of wealth management and financial stewardship outcomes. He is a shareholder of the firm and a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Pathstone in 2020, Ken served in various roles during a 26-year career at Cornerstone Advisors, including as the Chief Executive Officer from 2010-2020.
Ken graduated magna cum laude from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (“CFA”) and member of the CFA Society of Seattle.
Ken chairs the board of directors and serves on the finance committee of the Seattle non-profit organization FareStart, where he has been involved for over a decade. He also serves on the board and investment committee of the Father Wasson Legacy Endowment, an endowment that supports the mission of non-profit organization, NPH USA.
Ken and his wife, Julie, reside in Issaquah, WA where they have raised their two amazing daughters. When Ken is not at the office, he can likely be found on the road riding his bicycle or in the kitchen cooking.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute that measures and certifies the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
