Lauren Fryefield is the Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for building brand awareness and driving organic growth for the firm. Her focus is to work with others across the firm to continue the momentum that Pathstone has had in creating a highly regarded boutique for the UHNW. Lauren has deep marketing experience as a brand builder and business strategist known for driving outsized revenue and robust customer growth across a range of emerging and industry-leading global brands, with specific expertise in luxury and high-net-worth consumers.
Lauren’s marketing expertise comes from working for a decade for American Express across the business’s consumer, corporate, and merchant services parts, followed by thirteen years of driving growth and transformation at NetJets. She helped architect the marketing department at NetJets (before it was called NetJets). She was a key player in establishing NetJets as one of the world’s best-known and respected premium brands with an incredible reputation for quality, service, and safety.
After NetJets, Lauren was the Chief Marketing Officer at Envision Experience and WorldStrides, both private equity-backed experiential learning companies. While at Envision, Lauren increased revenues leading to a profitable investor exit and sale to WorldStrides. At WorldStrides, Lauren was head of centralized global marketing, driving revenue growth and enrollment across all lines of business.
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Organizational Behavior from Brown University in Providence, RI, where she graduated magna cum laude, and an MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. While at Kellogg, she was accepted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for AACSB-accredited business schools. Lauren is currently on the Board of Directors of Be The Narrative, a not-for-profit organization focused on dispelling stereotypes, and has previously served on the Board of Advisors of Prima Cinema and the Board of Directors for the Brown Club of Central New Jersey.
