Matt is a Managing Director in Client Advisory for Pathstone in the Providence, Rhode Island office. He is responsible for advising clients on a variety of wealth management issues, including investment management, trust, and estate planning, financial planning, philanthropy, accounting, income taxes, and wealth planning education for client family members, including the next generation.

Prior to Pathstone, Matt was a Partner for Rex Capital Advisors beginning in 2002. Over the years, he was responsible for advising and solving the most complex issues facing the firm’s clients. He also served as Rex’s Chief Financial Officer since the firm’s inception and handled registration with the Security and Exchange Commission.

Before joining Rex, Matt was a CPA for six years in the Boston area, responsible for audits, tax services, and consulting engagements for corporate and individual clients.

Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Matt and his wife Julie have two children and live in Southeastern Massachusetts.
