Mohammad Barkeshli is a Director and shareholder on the Diversifying Strategies team at Pathstone, based in the San Fransico Office. He is responsible for sourcing and diligence of investments across credit, absolute return, and real assets, as well as impact investment strategies.
Prior to joining Pathstone, Mohammad was a Principal and Co-Head of Diversifying Strategies and Full Consequence Investing at Hall Capital Partners LLC, an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) which advised on $45 billion of client assets. He also served on the firm’s Investment Review Committee. Mohammad was previously a private credit investor at Community Investment Management, a member of the infrastructure investment team at Queensland Investment Corporation in London, and an investment advisor at a Middle Eastern sovereign wealth fund.
Mohammad earned a B.A in Economics and Comparative Literature from New York University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He currently serves on the board of Ilmhona, a workforce development NGO in Central Asia, and advises both the Stanford GSB Impact Fund and Stanford Emergence.
