Nicholas is an Executive Managing Director in Client Advisory for Pathstone in the Alexandria, VA office. He has over 25 years experience in wealth management and interacts with clients helping them navigate the markets and offers strategic advice on a variety of issues. Nicholas is a shareholder of Pathstone and a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Prior to Pathstone, Nicholas founded Dyson Capital Advisors in 2007. He oversaw Dyson’s client service team and was a member of the investment committee. Before starting Dyson, Nicholas managed MRW Enterprises, the family investment office of United States Senator Mark Warner, for over 10 years.
In addition to his many years in wealth management, Nicholas also has significant experience as a direct investor. Nicholas previously served as Co-Founder and CFO of Novus Energy Partners, a clean energy investment fund. He also served as Co-Founder and CFO of X-10 Capital Partners, a long-short hedge fund that invested in the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors.
Nicholas graduated from Boston University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where he concentrated in Finance. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and four children.
