Nick is a Director and a member of the Pathstone Tax and Accounting Team in Pathstone’s Providence, RI office. He is also a shareholder of the firm. Prior to Pathstone, Nick joined Rex Capital Advisors in 2022 and supported clients with their tax, accounting, financial reporting, and estate planning needs. Nick also has expertise in tax planning and reporting for Non-Profit entities, investment partnership accounting and reporting, and philanthropic planning.
Prior to joining Rex, Nick was a Tax Manager at Ernst & Young LLP and a Senior Tax Accountant at KPMG LLP, where he was responsible for high-net-worth individual tax returns and partnership returns, including private equity and hedge funds. He is experienced with supporting clients’ estate planning needs, including analyzing gift planning and family-owned entity buy/sell provisions to optimize efficient use of estate tax regulations. Nick was also responsible for consulting with clients regarding cross-border issues, foreign trusts, and other foreign reporting and filing requirements. Nick has over twenty years of experience with individual and partnership accounting and tax matters.
Nick received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern and his Master of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University. Nick is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
