Orin Wicks is a Managing Director and shareholder on the Public Equities team at Pathstone, based in the San Francisco Office.

Prior to joining Pathstone, Orin was most recently a Managing Director in the Equity Strategies Group at Hall Capital Partners LLC, an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) which advised on $45 billion of client assets. He also served on the firm’s Investment Review Committee. Orin joined Hall Capital in 2006 in the Client Service Group and held roles on the Private Equity and Absolute Return and/Credit teams before joining the Equity Strategies group in 2016. Orin started his career as a Project Assistant at Jones Day.

Orin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Orin is a member of the CFA Institute and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. Orin serves on the Board of Trustees and Chairs the Finance and Investment Committees at The San Francisco School.

On the rarest of occasions when he does not have a weekend full of kids soccer/flag football/gymnastics/baseball, Orin enjoys playing golf.

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given to investment professionals who have successfully completed the requirements set by the globally recognized CFA Institute. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
