Steve is a Director based in Pathstone’s Bellevue, WA office. He serves high-net-worth, multi-generational families by providing personalized financial advice for each unique situation. Steve is responsible for advising families on a variety of wealth management issues, including liquidity event transition, investment management, trust and estate planning, income taxes, and education for the next generation. In addition to his client advisory responsibilities, Steve is a voting member of Pathstone’s Listed Markets Committee, which plays a key role in the portfolio construction for all Pathstone clients.
Steve joined the firm after six years with UBS Financial Services in Pittsburgh, PA. He worked on a large team and was responsible for portfolio construction, mutual fund manager due diligence and selection, and performance reporting. Steve graduated with a BS degree from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder and a member of the CFA Society Seattle, as well as a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. He has also passed the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 66 exams.
In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, skiing, and watching sports.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute that measures and certifies the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
The Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) is a designation awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board’s initial exams, then continue ongoing annual education programs to sustain their skills and certification. The focus areas include financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning, and retirement saving.
