Susan Wittliff is a Managing Director and shareholder at Pathstone. She provides strategic advice to clients designed to solidify their goals and help them to build a roadmap for the future. She places her clients’ values and interests first in helping them to determine their financial strategy, believing that wealth planning and investment strategy gain true resonance when they are reflective of the people involved.

Prior to Pathstone, Susan was a Principal, Chief Operating Officer, and Senior Wealth Advisor of Price Wealth. Susan began her career as an attorney specializing in corporate securities, first practicing at Haynes and Boone, LLP and later holding corporate executive positions at multiple private and publicly listed companies.

Susan is a member of the Board of Trustees for the St. David’s Foundation, one of the largest health foundations in the US, with a mission to advance health equity in Central Texas through investment and action.

Susan also serves on the Board of Directors for Austin PBS. Austin PBS is the leading mission-driven brand in the media space. They educate, inspire, and entertain Central Texas and national communities with content and services. Being a music lover, Susan particularly enjoys the Austin City Limits (ACL) productions by Austin PBS.

She is a member of the Investment Committee for The Texas Tribune, a nonpartisan media organization providing information about public policy, politics, government, and statewide issues in Texas. Susan also serves on the Advisory Board of the Wittliff Collections, whose mission is to preserve and present the cultural heritage of Texas, the Southwest, and Mexico through artists, including writers, photographers, musicians, and filmmakers.

After many years on the Board of Directors, Susan now serves on the Leadership Circle of Communities in Schools- Central Texas, Inc. CIS supports at-risk students, surrounding them with a community and empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. In addition to serving on multiple other boards, Susan served as the Chair of the Investment Committee for the Texas State University Development Foundation Board from 2013 through 2017, when she transitioned to Board Chair until 2019.

Susan received her Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and her Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law. Susan and her husband, Reid, live in Austin, TX and spend their free time raising two (almost) young adult children and playing with their dog, Ollie.
