Tom Gallanis is a Managing Director and shareholder at Pathstone. Tom serves as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and executives and helps provide the best solutions to meet clients’ unique financial and personal objectives.
Tom provides clients with customized and integrated wealth management solutions, including holistic balance sheet advisement, investment strategy development and implementation, concentrated position management, and wealth preservation and transfer planning.
Tom joins Pathstone from Crestone Capital. Prior to Crestone, Tom worked at Goldman Sachs in Chicago where he managed ultra high net worth clients and foundations. In this role, he was responsible for developing each client’s long-term strategic asset allocation, as well as evaluating internal and external investment managers for client portfolios.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he graduated with distinction. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of both CFA® Institute and CFA® Society Colorado.
In his spare time, Tom is an avid runner and has completed five marathons. He most enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and dog.

Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
